"We're not just the farm school anymore"

WB Saul High School was founded in 1943 as the Wissahickon Farm School and has remained open as an educational institution since that year. The school sits on a 130 acre campus that borders Fairmount Park.

Saul is the largest public agricultural high school in the United States and one of the ONLY urban agricultural schools as well. Saul emphasizes hands on, inquiry based learning, both in its agricultural classes and its academic courses as well.

Saul offers students the chance to major in one of four agricultural majors; animal science, plant science, enviornmental science, or food science. Students take classes within their major every day from sophomore year through graduation. Saul students get the chance to work on projects such as; farm show, flower show, career development events, FFA events, agriscience fair, clubs, sports, enviorothon and so much more.
